#69 Kalle ROVANPERÄ / Jonne HALTTUNEN
“It was tricky, I have to say I’m happy on how we drove. We were fast, with a good push all the time, but we left a little bit of margin at the rough places and it seemed to work. We didn’t have any issues, we drove consistent and I didn’t overdrive».
#33 Elfyn EVANS / Scott MARTIN
“It’s been a rough afternoon, quite challenging for the cars. We obviously tried to do our best, tried to look after the car. You still have to try to get to the end of the rally; we used our judgement maybe not to the best, but we are still here. We have to drive quickly tomorrow and we know how fast Dani can be”.
#8 Ott TÄNAK / Martin JÄRVEOJA
“Opening the road on Greece is really demanding, with very low grip, especially in the second loop. Our strategy was to keep some soft tyres for tomorrow just as an option. Maybe we’ll need them, maybe not. Other than that, we must say that we are happy to be here”.
#4 Esapekka LAPPI / Janne FERM
“We had a problem with the driveshaft, we also got an alternator warning, but luckily it was not the gearbox - I was sure the gearbox was broken. It’s tough to suddenly try to raise the speed for the power stage tomorrow, but we will try”.
#18 Takamoto KATSUTA / Aaron JOHNSTON
“Many things happened in the afternoon loop, at least we are happy to be here. It was a very dramatic afternoon”.
#6 Daniel SORDO / Cándido CARRERA
“I’m happy with the afternoon performance. In some of the stages we lost a little bit of time, our road position was not a perfect one, but we managed to finish second. Tomorrow it will be difficult to keep Evans behind, but at least we will try”.
#9 Jourdan SERDERIDIS / Frederic MICLOTTE
“We did well, the stages were rough, there were many punctures, so we decided to drive carefully and keep the car in one piece. We are the first greek crew, so for the moment I’m very happy”.
