#33 Elfyn EVANS / Scott MARTIN

“I am focused on doing the best I can and closing the weekend. I was a little bit frustrated after the first stage. I think that I didn't have the best rhythm. The next one was a little bit better. Let’s get to the end before we get excited, this is Acropolis and anything can happen. Just be focused.”

#69 Kalle ROVANPERÄ / Jonne HALTTUNEN

“The only realistic goal to have is to score some points in the Power Stage. We are second on the road and just taking it easy. But despite that, we picked up a puncture, so it wasn’t the best morning. We will focus on the Power Stage. Tarzan is quite rough, a lot of loose stones. Also in the Power Stage everything can happen.”

#17 Sébastien OGIER / Vincent LANDAIS

“Ott keeps pushing. I think the first will be ΟΚ, but Tarzan will be a big challenge. There is a high risk of punctures. It's never easy when you have to push for the Power Stage. For my side I don’t know if I need to push. We will have a good rhythm and try to stay out of trouble.”

#8 Ott TÄNAK / Martin JÄRVEOJA

“Obviously it was a very positive morning. The new stage was very challenging. Tarzan is very demanding with a lot of stones. The car is working well. The rhythm is important. There are always many surprises and we need to be aware. But that’s Greece. The rhythm is there. Two more stages and the enjoyment will come.”

#1 Thierry NEUVILLE / Martijn WYDAEGHE

“The day started ΟΚ, with a good time on the long stage. It wasn't too bad. In the last stage, 10 kilometers in, I felt something was wrong. Progressively we were losing the damper liquid and I ended up with a completely blocked damper. We lost 10 seconds to Elfyn, which cost us already one position and it would be difficult to fight back. It’s a difficult and long day! We have to make sure that the car will finish the last stage in one piece to come back. Challenging day and weekend. But with the problem this morning it doesn’t make our job easier.”

#18 Takamoto KATSUTA / Aaron JOHNSTON

“We knew the new stage would be very sandy and tricky. We are not in the fight, so we concentrate on the Power Stage. Tarzan is very rough, but the car is feeling ΟΚ and we are going to push. I don’t care if it rains. I will go flat out.”

#16 Adrien FOURMAUX / Alexandre CORIA

“On the last one I was a little bit cautious in the middle of the stage, to avoid any puncture. It’s a 27 seconds gap, which is quite good. We just have to find a good pace in the afternoon and it will be fine. We don’t need to take any risk. I know what was wrong this morning. I was off the pace. I will manage it in the afternoon.”

#5 Sami PAJARI / Marko SALMINEN

“Quite a tricky morning. It's something new for me to be first on the road in such conditions. But I think the times weren’t so bad. I didn't really push, I tried to do some normal driving. There was some small rain in the road section. Actually, I don't mind if it rains.”

#55 Joshua MCERLEAN / Eoin TREACY

“Yes, the handbrake is ΟΚ! The last stage was very nice, we had a good rhythm. Tarzan's second pass would be a proper Power Stage. The second pass would be very rough.”

#22 Mārtiņš SESKS / Renārs FRANCIS

“We didn't have the right setup for the car this morning. But we are still learning, and that is good for the future. There will be room for improvement.”
