SERVICE FLASH B

Date: 28/6/2025 Flash N°: 14

Service: B (Lamia)

#33 Elfyn EVANS / Scott MARTIN

“We used soft tyres yesterday, when we were first on the road, and we are going to need some for tomorrow. Definitely not ideal to be with the hard compound, especially in the last stage. It was quite slippery, but we got through. We are not taking any risks. You never know what will happen.”

#69 Kalle ROVANPERÄ / Jonne HALTTUNEN

“Just lacking pace a lot. Not getting the right combination of car and driving. Doesn’t work at the moment.”

#17 Sébastien OGIER / Vincent LANDAIS

“It was not possible to match the speed. We have one more soft tyre, and it was a compromise for this morning loop. The delamination of some tyres yesterday forced me not to have soft tyres for this morning. But it was an OK loop. More slippery than I thought.”

#8 Ott TÄNAK / Martin JÄRVEOJA

“We have a better road position than yesterday, but also a better feeling in the car. But it is a very demanding loop. The main target and challenge is to keep the tyres in one piece and retain the same good rhythm.”

#1 Thierry NEUVILLE / Martijn WYDAEGHE

“We close the gap with Taka. There is a fight going on, but not for the position we want. Very frustrating. It was a difficult morning, to be honest. We found ourselves second on the road and we also had a slow puncture. And it was a soft tyre which could be useful. There is massive cleaning in all stages. Today was smoother, but the second pass will be very rough. We will try to fight with Taka and gain one more position. We need to make the right choice for the afternoon and go for it.”

#18 Takamoto KATSUTA / Aaron JOHNSTON

“Definitely better than yesterday's loop. We could push more, but it doesn't make sense to push much now. Still, the pace was quite OK. The characteristics were different and we knew we were going to lose some time, but we didn’t after all, as I expected. It was OK.”

#13 Grégoire MUNSTER / Louis LOUKA

“We have a problem with the handbrake from the start of the loop. The first stage was extremely narrow and it was very difficult for us. We lost a lot of time trying to turn the car in. But that’s how it is and we continue like this. Let's see what we can do. Will try our best. The afternoon will be very tricky and rough.”

#55 Joshua MCERLEAN / Eoin TREACY

“We hit a rock in the first stage of the loop and we broke the suspension arm. We worked on the car, but the driveshaft was broken. We managed to return to the service and that’s important. It was very demanding.”

#22 Mārtiņš SESKS / Renārs FRANCIS

“It was really challenging. Already on the Recce you could see that the Saturday’s and Sunday’s stages are really dusty and with much loose gravel, everyone was complaining, so imagine how it was to be first on the road. You are driving quite slow, but still in the end you are sliding around.”
