“We knew that something could happen after the puncture. We tried to avoid another puncture, but we tried to use the advantage of the starting position to gain positions. “I think we deserved to be leading tonight. I think we need to get some time back with the dust issue, I don't know why it takes so much time. It was a good day for us, we were managing well on the rocky places and we were pushing when the road was a little more clean. I’m quite happy.”

“It was really tricky with the heat, but we feel quite OK with the conditions and with the car, so that’s good. It is a very demanding event, with rough conditions. So far the car is holding. He had two punctures, but we managed to get through without having to change the tyres midstage, so it’s good. We’ll keep the same strategy tomorrow.”
