#33 Elfyn EVANS / Scott MARTIN
“It's tough. It wasn’t feeling so bad in the car. The first pass was really difficult. The balance of the car in the second pass was better. Seb (Ogier) has a very strong pace. But that’s the way it is now. There is a small problem with the steering, but I am sure the guys are going to solve it.”
#17 Sébastien OGIER / Vincent LANDAIS
“I enjoyed the first pass more. The second was really difficult. I was very careful, because there were so many stones on the road. In the last stage we also had a puncture, but at the last 200 meters. It’s very hot in the car, but I manage to keep my focus. In the afternoon, though, the temperatures could be higher and it will be more demanding.”
#8 Ott TÄNAK / Martin JÄRVEOJA
“No drama for us. The conditions are tough as always. The balance of the car is not optimum. But besides that, so far so far good. It’s a very demanding Rally for the rims and tyres.”
#1 Thierry NEUVILLE / Martijn WYDAEGHE
“In the last stage we had a puncture 7 kilometers before the finish. We took the decision to keep on. It was tough, but we managed to adapt to the conditions and lose only 39 seconds. In the end I was happy that we didn’t lose more time. But the Rally is not over yet. I feel good in the car and we try to manage it. In these conditions, however, you also need luck and you have to keep with that.”
#18 Takamoto KATSUTA / Aaron JOHNSTON
We got a puncture in the morning. We don't know where, but it happened. It was not good for us, but there is still a long way to go. Many things can happen. We will try to avoid another puncture and not to make a mistake.
#16 Adrien FOURMAUX / Alexandre CORIA
“I think we should take some time back, after we stuck on Taka’s (Katsuta) dust on the first stage. The second pass of the stage Agii Theorodi was really tough. I tried to keep the car in one piece and avoid any puncture. Big gamble, I try to survive in the last one.”
#5 Sami PAJARI / Marko SALMINEN
The first stage was OK, despite the fact that I didn’t feel so fast. We tried to be on the safe side and drive clean. The second stage was softer and you could push more in the ruts. But I think we are not doing bad so far. We aren’t even half of the Rally!”
#13 Grégoire MUNSTER / Louis LOUKA
“We try our best. We protected the car, but we had punctures. Sometimes you can’t avoid the rocks. I think my strategy is not so bad.”
#55 Joshua MCERLEAN / Eoin TREACY
“It’s nice to be in the service. In the morning, we had a puncture. But this is Acropolis and you have to expect it. Also, in the last stage we had a puncture in the last kilometers.”
#22 Mārtiņš SESKS / Renārs FRANCIS
These were the most brutal stages I have ever been to. In the first stage I didn't know where I was and what was happening. After that I got used to it. We are kind of getting there. There are a lot of things to learn. But so far it’s OK.”
