How to get to the EKO Acropolis Rally Super Special Stage

The EKO Rally Acropolis is bringing the FIA World Rally Championship back to the capital of Greece, featuring a Super Special Stage at Water Square.

On Thursday, September 7th, after the ceremonial start beneath the Acropolis, the rallying cars will begin their first performance on Greek soil, in and around Water Square.
The EKO Super Special Stage spans 1.48 km. It runs through Water Square with the majestic Faliro Marina and the historic armoured cruiser Georgios Averof in the backdrop. The route continues between Tae Kwon Do and Beach Volleyball courts, providing an exciting experience for the fans. The world's top-class drivers will run one by one, showcasing the fastest rally cars in the history of the World Championship, in an event that will last for around three hours.
The EKO Super Special Stage offers free viewing areas for spectators, which are highlighted in green on the provided map. For those seeking a more premium experience, grandstand seats are available for purchase on www.viva.gr, providing a front-row view of the action.

USEFUL INFORMATION

• Please note that the only way to enter the super special stage site is on foot. There will be no parking available on any section of the site, and it will be blocked off.
• To reach Nero Square, it is advisable to use public transportation, particularly the tram that stops at “Delta Falirou” and “Aghia Skepi”.
• Access to the stands (North and South) is via Esplanada (pedestrian street starting from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre - mainly for the North Stand) and via the Tae Kwon Do Indoor Stadium of Paleo Faliro (mainly for the South Stand).
• To ensure a hassle-free arrival, it is recommended to reach the venue at least two hours prior to the stage's start time.
• The EKO Acropolis's Rally Village will be in the Esplanade area.
• A FIA WRC Meet the Crews will take place at 18:35. Representatives from the Manufacturers, as well as Sebastien Ogier, Jonne Halttunen, Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo, Ott Tanak and Jourdan Serderidis will be in attendance. The Meet the Crews will be held at the center of the super special stage, in front of the spectators.
