Flash N°: 15
Special stage: 11 (Pavliani 2)
Distance: 24.25 km
Road conditions: Smooth gravel
1 SEBASTIEN OGIER/JULIEN INGRASSIA
“It was a good stage for us. I enjoyed it more than in the morning, better grip. I think the hard tyres are the right choice, but let’s wait and see the guys in the back”.
33 ELFYN EVANS/SCOTT MARTIN
“It’s very slippery with the hard tyres. Difficult to find confidence”.
11 THIERRY NEUVILLE/MARTIJN WYDAEGHE
“The stage was drier than expected. I thought it would be more damp. At the end the tyres were overheating. But OK, we are here and one stage to go”.
69 KALLE ROVANPERÄ/JONNE HALTTUNEN
“Not happy with this stage. It was difficult with two spare wheels. Let’s see what we can do on the next one”.
8 OTT TÄNAK/MARTIN JÄRVEOJA
“It’s OK. I think we made the right tyre choice. Maybe a little bit on the limit”.
44 GUS GREENSMITH/CHRIS PATTERSON
“It was quite different to this morning. Quite slippy, the soft tyres is the best choice”.
6 DANI SORDO/CANDIDO CARRERA
“We are not taking risks”.
16 ADRIEN FOURMAUX/RENAUD JAMOUL
“We change something with the set-up in service and it’s much better now. We made a change to the differential”.
7 PIERRE-LOUIS LOUBET/FLORIAN HAUT-LABOURDETTE
“The stage is mostly dry. It’s better and more enjoyable”.
After four consecutive wins of Kalle Rovanpera, now it was Sebastien Ogier’s turn to set the fastest stage time. The seven-time World Champion is third, but has narrowed the gap from Ott Tanak to 2.5 sec. Rovanpera still has a comfortable lead.
