Flash N°: 5
Special Stage: 3 (Loutraki)
Distance: 19.40 km
Road conditions: Dry, slippery gravel
1 SEBASTIEN OGIER/JULIEN INGRASSIA
“I am happy with my performance and to be here”.
33 ELFYN EVANS/SCOTT MARTIN
“We are having some issues with the car, we have to go and see”.
He was stuck in 6th gear.
11 THIERRY NEUVILLE/MARTIJN WYDAEGHE
“I did my best. I am not confident with the car. Sometimes I lose the front, some others the rear. We did some changes before the stage. It was a little better, but not enough. We could pick 5 spares. But it’s only the beginning. Our approach is the right one”.
69 KALLE ROVANPERÄ/JONNE HALTTUNEN
“It was a bit better. I get used a little bit more with the tyres. I try to push. Let’s see what we can do”.
8 OTT TÄNAK/MARTIN JÄRVEOJA
“I struggle with the car. The engine was stalling”.
44 GUS GREENSMITH/CHRIS PATTERSON
“I could do better. It’s difficult to follow the lines and control the car. I do the best I can”.
6 DANI SORDO/CANDIDO CARRERA
“Maybe the road is cleaning a little bit more. I don’t have a lot of confidence. In this one the car was better”.
7 PIERRE-LOUIS LOUBET/FLORIAN HAUT-LABOURDETTE
“We had an impact, but nothing major”.
Kalle Rovanpera has set an impressive time and now is the new leader of EKO Rally Acropolis. Dani Sordo was second fastest and Ott Tanak third. The Estonian has engine problems. There was drama for Elfyn Evans who started the stage with a time penalty and a gearbox problem (stuck in 6th). They lost a lot of time.
