#33 Elfyn EVANS - Scott MARTIN

“The puncture was a little bit of a surprise, because we were on the limit. It’s just like that. I am frustrated, but a lot of other drivers feel the same. I am not alone in that situation. Tomorrow, the characteristics of the stages are different. They are more sandy and there are going to be a lot of loose rocks. I think that a lot can happen in this Rally. It’s still a long and tough day to go.”

#18 Takamoto KATSUTA - Aaron JOHNSTON

“In the morning the target is to catch the two Ford’s in front of us. We managed to do that, but after that it was only management. We try to avoid punctures and problems. It will be nice to have some more extra points tomorrow, but the stages are rougher than today. Everything can happen. My target is to finish without a problem.”

#99 Oliver SOLBERG - Elliott EDMONDSON

“I think we rebuilt our confidence a little bit. I know I can be there on the top, but today is just to get back the feeling with the car. With our starting position you don’t need to do any heroics. I know tomorrow will be difficult with our starting position, but I have to try.”

#5 Sami PAJARI - Marko SALMINEN

“There wasn’t so much to do. In some stages we were solid. We pass Dani now and we are in front of Elfyn, so we gain some positions.”

#1 Sébastien OGIER - Vincent LANDAIS

“At times it was nice to drive, but also sometimes scary just trying to survive from the roughness of the stages. I would like to thank the organization and the FIA for canceling the first kilometers of Ghymno 2. It was too rough and it would cause chaos. It was a good decision. Even on the last stage we saw Elfyn and Dani had a puncture. And in the middle of the stage started to be a little bit more cautious.”

#16 Adrien FOURMAUX - Alexandre CORIA

“I was really slow at the stage trying to avoid a puncture. But there was a stone in our line and we hit it. After that it was a slow puncture and we decided to change the tyre because the stage was so rough. It was frustrating. It’s hard to accept it, but that's rallying. The positive thing is that we are 4th and we have a good starting position for tomorrow. Let’s see what we can do.”

#11 Thierry NEUVILLE - Martijn WYDAEGHE

“We had a problem with the power steering after the last stage, it was difficult to come back but we managed it. I am happy today. The performance of the car and the speed was good. We are getting closer to the end of the Rally, so we will push more tomorrow.”

#95 Jon ARMSTRONG - Shane BYRNE

“We had a small fire at the end of the last stage, but thankfully the marshalls reacted quickly. Big thanks to them. After that we managed to come back to the service. We don’t have big damage to the car and we can come back tomorrow. I think when we compare our times with the guys around us we have shown some good pace today.”

#6 Daniel SORDO - Cándido CARRERA

“I felt good with the car and the speed. In the last one we were unlucky and had a puncture because there was a stone in our line. It wasn’t our day.”

#55 Joshua MCERLEAN - Eoin TREACY

“It’s been a solid day. Obviously Elfyn was catching us up. We had a damaged damper, so it was just survival for us on the last stage.”

#22 Mārtiņš SESKS - Renārs FRANCIS

“This morning I was thinking too much about the tyres. I lost my pace and my feeling with the car. The good thing we can keep is that we improve our pace from the morning .”
