SS2 FLASH

Date: 26/6/2026

Day: 2

Flash N°: 3

Special stage: Bauxites

Distance: 22.97 km

Weather: Sunny, 26°C

Road conditions: Rough, loose gravel

#33 Elfyn EVANS - Scott MARTIN

“Very difficult with the cleaning. We are trying to do the best we can.”

#18 Takamoto KATSUTA - Aaron JOHNSTON

“It was cleaning a lot. There are a lot of stones everywhere. The road is very messy with the stones. The road will improve. I focus on myself.”

#99 Oliver SOLBERG - Elliott EDMONDSON

“It was just driving and in one moment we had a puncture. Just like that.” Front left puncture

#5 Sami PAJARI - Marko SALMINEN

“It's a weird condition for me. We are going wide in many places. We don’t know where to go for it and where don’t push so much.”

#1 Sébastien OGIER - Vincent LANDAIS

“A lot of loose gravel, the time is dropping. Not pushing too much. Obviously, it’s a very long Rally.”

#16 Adrien FOURMAUX - Alexandre CORIA

“It’s going to be a long Rally. I have a good feeling with the car. I push in some places. I will try to find my pace. Good start for us.”

#11 Thierry NEUVILLE - Martijn WYDAEGHE

“I have a good feeling with the car. But I was struggling with traction and a little bit with the car balance. I was surprised with the low grip. Today you need to have a trouble free leg and have a good starting position for tomorrow.”

#95 Jon ARMSTRONG - Shane BYRNE

“It’s always difficult to know what the rhythm will be like. For sure we could be faster but we try to be focused and protect the tyres. And have a clean run.”

#6 Daniel SORDO - Cándido CARRERA

“Difficult to find the grip and don’t get out of the line. Tricky stage, but not so bad for us. Everything can happen here with the punctures and maybe we will push a little bit more.”

#55 Joshua MCERLEAN - Eoin TREACY

“I probably could have done more. But it's a long rally and the last thing we want is to take risks. It's a good start.”

#22 Mārtiņš SESKS - Renārs FRANCIS

“At the end of the stage I felt we had a puncture.” Front left slow puncture

#9 Jourdan SERDERIDIS - Frédéric MICLOTTE

“We knew this stage very well. It’s still cleaning a lot, but we have a good and clean run.”
