| 21/04/09 | | The 2003 World Champion, Norwegian Petter Solberg, took part in Abarth test session and had the opportunity to get a feeling from the performance of the Italian rally car. It was Solberg’s first time behind the wheel of a S2000 spec. car. The specific category, is about to become the top of the World Rally Championship, starting from the following year, replacing the World Rally Cars. The Norwegian stated that he was satisfied by both the test and the performance of the car.

Twice World Champion, Marcus Gronholm, takes part in the 4th round of this year’s calendar, driving a Subaru Impreza WRC 2008, sponsored by Portugal’s Ministry of Tourism and Vodafone, who made it all happen, together with Prodrive.
The Finn, who has already driven the car in Whales and Spain, immediately started keeping good pace right after sitting behind the wheel. He avoided any comparison between this car and the Focus, claiming that they are too different to compare.
