M-Sport Ford World Rally Team concluded four days of testing in some of the most renowned Acropolis Rally stages as it prepares for Rally Turkey (13-16/09), round 10 of this year's World Rally Championship.
Elfyn Evans and Daniel Barritt drove the Fiesta WRC in the stages of Livadeia and Kaloskopi, while Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia concluded the team's test the two following days in the Karoutes and Rengini stages.
This was the first time after Volkswagen in 2013 that a WRC-spec car was tested in Greece, and of course the first time for a World Rally Car of the new generation, which started in 2017. These factors, together with the presence of the top WRC crews, and also the memories of old WRC Acropolis Rallies, drove many Greek fans to the mountains this week.
This summer, Volkswagen Motorsport και Skoda Motorsport also visited Greece, testing their R5-spec Polo and Fabia respectively.
